Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have acquired a Bachelor of Psychology from the esteemed University of British Columbia, which provided me with a solid foundation for comprehending human behavior and societal dynamics. Subsequently, I pursued a Master of Leadership from Royal Roads University, reflecting my unwavering commitment to enhancing my leadership skills, particularly within the social service sector.

With over two decades of dedicated service in the social service field, I have had the privilege of engaging with diverse populations, thereby refining my expertise in navigating the multifaceted challenges encountered by individuals from varying backgrounds. My pursuit of knowledge and skill development led me to undertake a Trauma-Informed Compassionate Inquiry course under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Gabor Mate, amplifying my capacity to comprehend and address the complexities of trauma effectively.

I am deeply honored to have contributed significantly to the National Network of Stakeholders for advancing racial equity alongside the Canadian Human Rights Commission, where I played an active role in driving impactful change on a national scale. At the district level, my commitment to fostering inclusive practices in education is demonstrated through my proactive involvement in the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee within School District #83.
